Ingredients
- 2 ripe guavas, peeled and chopped
- Juice of 2 fresh limes
- 2 cups (500 ml) cold water
- 4–5 whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (optional)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Wash the guavas thoroughly and cut them into small pieces.
- Add the guava, water, lime juice, and ginger (if using) to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother drink.
- Lightly crush the cloves and steep them in a few tablespoons of hot water for about 5 minutes. Remove the cloves and add the infused liquid to the drink.
- Stir well, taste, and add honey if desired.
- Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint.
