Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup whole strawberries (for topping)
- 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup strawberry yogurt or vanilla yogurt
- 3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, enhances flavor)
Optional Add-Ins
- ½ cup cream cheese (for thicker cream)
- 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (for extra sweetness)
- A handful of strawberry jam or puree (for deeper pink color)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Strawberries
Wash and chop the strawberries into small cubes.
Save whole or halved strawberries for the topping.
Add 1 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp lemon juice, and mix.
Let them sit for 5 minutes — this releases the natural juice and boosts flavor.
2. Make the Cream Base
In a mixing bowl:
- Add cold heavy cream
- Add 2 tbsp sugar
- Add vanilla extract
Whip for 2–3 minutes until fluffy but not too stiff.
3. Add Yogurt
Gently fold in the strawberry yogurt or vanilla yogurt.
This gives the dessert its pink color and creamy texture.
4. Add the Strawberries
Fold in the chopped strawberries and some of their juice.
Mix slowly so you keep the creamy texture.
Taste — if you want it sweeter, add 1–2 tbsp condensed milk.
5. Serve
Spoon the mixture into:
- cups
- bowls
- dessert glasses
Top with whole strawberries just like in your photo.
Refrigerate 30 minutes for best texture — or enjoy immediately!
