Cheesy Garlic Shredded Beef Stuffed Biscuits

Ingredients

For the Beef Filling

  • 2 cups cooked shredded beef (pot roast, slow-cooker beef, leftover roast, or premade pulled beef)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: ¼ cup beef gravy or broth (to keep meat moist)

For the Biscuits

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (Pillsbury-style, 8 large biscuits)
    OR homemade biscuits if preferred.

Cheese Layer

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella or provolone
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar (optional for extra flavor)

Garlic Butter Topping

  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Beef Filling

  1. Place the shredded beef in a bowl.
  2. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. If the meat feels dry, mix in a little gravy or broth.
  4. Stir well and set aside.

2. Prepare the Biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Separate the biscuits from the can.
  4. Using your hands, gently flatten each biscuit into a circle about 5–6 inches wide.

3. Stuff the Biscuits

  1. Place a spoonful of shredded beef in the center of half the biscuit rounds.
  2. Add a generous pinch of shredded mozzarella or provolone on top of the beef.
  3. Place a second flattened biscuit on top to form a “sandwich.”
  4. Press the edges together firmly to seal so the cheese won’t leak during baking.
  5. Transfer stuffed biscuits to your baking sheet.

4. Add Cheese & Garlic Butter

  1. Brush the tops of each biscuit with garlic butter.
  2. Sprinkle more mozzarella or cheddar on top for that beautiful golden cheese crust.
  3. Add a tiny bit of parsley for color (optional).

5. Bake

Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until:

  • the tops are golden brown,
  • cheese is melted,
  • and biscuits are fully puffed.

Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
