Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley (plus extra for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the lobster tails
Cut the top of each lobster shell down the middle. Gently pull the meat upward and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base. This helps the lobster cook evenly and gives a beautiful presentation.
2. Make the creamy garlic sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic, heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley. Stir until fully combined and smooth.
3. Arrange in a baking dish
Place the lobster tails into a baking dish with the meat facing upward. Pour the garlic cream sauce over the top of each tail, making sure they are generously coated.
4. Add cheese
Sprinkle mozzarella or parmesan over each lobster tail. This will melt into the sauce and create that golden, creamy topping just like in the photo.
5. Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes or until the lobster meat is opaque and tender.
6. Broil for color (optional)
For a golden top, broil for 1–2 minutes—but watch closely so it does not burn.
7. Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with garlic bread, rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
