Air Fryer Whole Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or regular white potatoes)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or thyme
  • Optional: 1 tbsp melted butter for finishing

Instructions

1. Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Wash potatoes well and dry them completely.
  2. Keep the skin on.
  3. Use a fork to poke each potato 4–5 times (helps them cook evenly).

2. Seasoning Mix

In a bowl, mix:

  • olive oil
  • salt
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • paprika
  • black pepper
  • chopped herbs

Rub this mixture all over the potatoes until fully coated.

3. Air Fry

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.
  2. Place potatoes inside the basket with space between them.
  3. Cook 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway.

TIP:

If using very large potatoes, cook 45–50 minutes.

4. Check for Doneness

Pierce with a knife or skewer:

  • If it slides in easily → potatoes are ready.
  • If still firm → cook 5–10 extra minutes.

5. Serve

Brush with melted butter for extra flavor.

Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.

Serve hot with:

  • sour cream
  • garlic sauce
  • melted cheese
  • grilled meat or chicken
