Knock You Naked Bars
Ingredients:
1 package (18.5 oz) chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 large egg
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup caramel sauce
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, melted butter, and egg until a soft dough forms. Stir in the chopped pecans.
Press half of the cookie dough into the prepared pan to form a layer.
Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven.
While the bottom layer is baking, combine the caramel sauce, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until combined.
Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the baked layer.
Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the chocolate chips.
Drop small spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the caramel layer.
Return to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the top is light golden brown.
Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
