Homemade Coffee Ice Cream – A Dreamy Treat!

There’s nothing like the rich, smooth taste of homemade coffee ice cream. Perfectly creamy, with just the right coffee kick, it’s a treat that brings pure joy in every scoop!

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
¾ cup strong brewed coffee (cooled) or 2 tbsp instant espresso powder
¾ cup sugar
4 large egg yolks
/ 1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Directions:
Heat the milk & cream in a saucepan over medium heat until warm (don’t boil).
Whisk egg yolks & sugar in a bowl until smooth. Slowly add the warm milk mixture while whisking.
Return to the stove and cook over low heat, stirring until thickened (it should coat the back of a spoon).
Remove from heat, stir in coffee, vanilla, and salt.
